Why This Sample Paper 2027 is Different?

CBSE has introduced 50% Competency Based Questions this year. That means direct bookish questions kam, aur Case Studies zyada.

After analysing the paper for 3 hours, I found this pattern:

Chapterwise Weightage in Sample Paper 2026-27:

  • Chapter 1: Nature of Management - 5 Marks (Q1, Q12)
  • Chapter 4: Planning - 8 Marks (Case Study Q19)
  • Chapter 10: Marketing Management - 18 Marks (Q22, Q24, Q26) - HIGHEST
  • Chapter 11: Consumer Protection - 6 Marks

Conclusion: 3 Chapters (Planning, Organizing, Marketing) = 60% of Paper.

Q19. Super Fine Rice Ltd. Case Study

Question: The company continued to rely on its previously tried and tested successful plans which didn't work because the environment is not static. This led to decline in sales. Identify two limitations of planning.

Topper's Answer (How to write for full marks):

The two limitations highlighted are:

1. Planning does not guarantee success: Mere planning does not ensure success. Success depends on how plan is implemented. Managers of Super Fine Rice Ltd. relied on old plans.

2. Planning may not work in dynamic environment: Business environment is dynamic and changes continuously. Planning cannot foresee everything.

Topper Trick - How to Use Marking Scheme?

CBSE marking scheme says: For 4 marks, write 4 points with 1 example each.

Most students write only 2 points. That's why they get 2/4.

For this sample paper, check Q24 (6 marks): Marking scheme has given 6 headings. You must write at least 5 headings + conclusion.

Final Words

This sample paper is not just a paper, it's a pattern. If you master Marketing (Ch 10 & 11) and Planning (Ch 4), you are already at 40/80 marks.
